This box doesn’t open with the hinge as that part has come unglued/stuck so it opens by taking the lid completely off/on. Still very beautiful and functional.
Please note this is an antique/vintage item. It is not *perfect* there may be slight imperfections or blemishes, but that is what gives it character and a story from its past owner.
